I've been to much better
Beautiful venue. First time at the "Louisiana Hayride" hall. The concert was slated to start at 8pm, the opening act came out at 8:30. A dreadful 3 member band that made up for lack of songs with excessive guitar and drum banging. Every song sounded the same. Was unable to understand any lyrics. Then after at 20 min removal of their equipment, Dwight Yoakam came on. Played songs we wanted to hear, but due to the acoustics we were again unable to hear any lyrics. Fortunately we knew all the words. The volume of the music was intolerable. I joined the numerous people putting toilet paper in our ears to keep from going deaf.
